What we do for the Community |
The Carrollton Women's Club does much for our community. Among other things, we make blankets for use by our first responders; provide food, toiletries, coats, and toys for the needy; and raise money for our community partners and for scholarships for local high school girls. In 2023-2024 we gave away $54,790. We'd love to have you join us!
Since 1998, $505,800 has been awarded in scholarships to 308 young women. Since 2010, $124,825 has been contributed to local charities, such as: Caring Pathways of Carrollton, Community Gardens of Carrollton, Mayberry Memorial, Make it Count, Nickel from Nicole, The Firehouse Theatre Summer Youth Program, A Book a Child, Families to Freedom, Metrocrest Services, Red Basket, and others.

The Club Women's Creed
Keep us, oh God, from pettiness: let us be large in thought, in word, in deed. Let us be done with fault-finding and leave off self-seeking. May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face without self-pity and without prejudice. May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous. Let us take time for all things; make us to grow calm, serene, gentle. Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid. Grant that we may realize that it is the little things that create differences, that in the big things of life we are as one. And we may strive to touch and to know the great, common human heart of us all, and O Lord God, let us not forget to be kind.
Written and entitled, "Collect for Club Women," by Mary Stewart in 1904 as a prayer-for-the-day when she was a member of the Fortnightly Club, the forerunner of the Longmont Colorado Business and Professional Women’s Club. This creed is used by women's clubs and organizations around the world.
The Carrollton Women’s Club is a non-discriminatory organization.
