Calendar of Events

The CWC Board Meeting meets at Grace Lutheran Church (no affiliation), 1200 E Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010 at 10 a.m. All members are welcome at board meetings. 

Hand-and-Foot Canasta. Come at noon. We meet at IHOP (in the private room to the right), 2625 Old Denton Rd (just north of Bush Turnpike). All are welcome, even if you don't know how to play! We eat lunch and play until around 2:30 or so.

The Monday Bridge group meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday at IHOP on Old Denton Rd. They meet at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and start playing bridge at 1.00 p.m. Most of the members of this group have only played a few years.

Charitable distributions to community organizations; recognition of scholarship recipients; installation of officers. This meeting will start at 5 p.m. and will meet at 1820 Pearl Street Building B. This building is located across from Carrollton Elementary school, and we can park on both sides of the building. We can get to the reception room by entering either Building A or Building B.

The Garden Club is a new Special Interest Group for CWC! Michele Fry and Mary McCrummen are the leaders.
Meeting time is 10 a.m. at the church (though sometimes it might be a field trip instead of a meeting). Plans are to not meet in December, January, April, and the summer.

Bookmarks is our book club. We meet at 10 a.m. at Marshall's BBQ to discuss the book for the month. Our chair is Nancy Fitzpatrick (fitznanc@gmail.com). Come join us!

 

The Thursday Bridge group meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday at IHOP on Old Denton Rd.  They meet at 11:30 am for lunch and play bridge at 12:30 pm.  This is a mixed group with players of varying experience.
