Stitchin' Time
Wednesday, November 1st, 2017, 10am
Meets at The Old Craft Store, downtown Carrollton at 10 a.m. The group then goes to lunch nearby. After lunch, those who want to are welcome back at The Old Craft Store until 3 p.m. to work on projects of your choice.

CWC Board Meeting

The CWC Board Meeting meets at Grace Lutheran Church (no affiliation), 1200 E Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010 at 10 a.m. All members are welcome at board meetings.
Canasta
Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, 12pm at IHOP
Hand-and-Foot Canasta. Come at noon. We meet at IHOP (in the private room to the right), 2625 Old Denton Rd (just north of Bush Turnpike). All are welcome, even if you don't know how to play! We eat lunch and play until around 2:30 or so.

CWC General Meeting

We welcome all guests to meet the ladies and learn about the fun and wonderful activities the Carrollton Women's Club has to offer. Sign-in and activity sign-up starts at 9:30 a.m.

Program:
Our Carrollton City Mayor, Kevin Falconer, elected in June of this year will appear as speaker for the Nov. 9th CWC General Meeting. A native Texan, born in Dallas, Mayor Falconer has a long history of serving the City, including membership on the City Council. He is a graduate of Texas Tech and an architect with membership in the American Institute of Architects. He has been married to his wife, Susan for 34 years, has three daughters, two sons-in-law and one grandson.

We go to the movies the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The decisions as to which movie, and location/time are not made until a few days prior. Usually it is the 1st movie time of the morning, and we lunch afterwards.
