| Description: | GIRLS ON THE GO Monday, October 23 We have just had a Charity opportunity proposed to us!
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children at 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219 (Oak Lawn exit off Tollway and 35) has a fund raising bazaar in November and they need help with the craft that is their best seller – Walnut Turkeys … and they need 250 of them! These sell out every year. They will provide all the materials and the directions to make them. There is a delicious cafeteria for lunch. We can start at 10 a.m. and you can stay as long as you want. We suggest forming your own carpools and we will have sign-up sheets and driving directions at the General meeting on October 12. You can wear your pink shirts and, since we are a crafty club, we hope you can help out. Sorry for the short notice, but the lady in charge said their crafters are doing so many other things that they really need help. |
